Production Manager (m/f/d) Hubner Component Solutions LLP 


for our sister company Hubner Component Solutions in Dunlap, USA




Reporting directly to the Plant General Manager, the Production Manager is responsible for supervising assigned manufacturing departments. This position, along with the General Manager, plans, assigns, and coordinates work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production operations, logistics, warehouse, and inventory control.
  • Directs, manages, and optimizes production operations and processes. Sets policies and makes decisions guiding productivity, quality, and cost efficiency of plant operations.
  • Balance safety, quality, productivity, cost, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
  • Ensure that production deadlines and quality requirements are met and production efficiency is continuously improved.
  • Manage departmental performance measures and provide regular progress to Site Manager.
  • Lead and train production employees.
  • Maintain accurate data in SAP system.
  • Properly organize and plan production and logistics to meet production deadlines.
  • Generate departmental productivity reports.
  • Support production team and other team areas with cross-functional tasks.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and create a strong safety first mindset and culture within the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, rubber elastomer chemistry, or a comparable technical qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in or supporting a production environment. 
  • Hands-on mechanical or technical experience.
  • Knowledgeable of Lean Processes, Manufacturing flows, and Earned Value Management
  • SAP Experience
  • Familiarity with elastomeric molding processes as it relates to extruded and molded EPDM and silicon based products.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Solution oriented and results driven
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Effective leadership and team building skills, develops and motivates employees

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3 years Project Management experience
  • Rubber experience preferred
